If you believe the way the diagram shows, they put the supercharger BEFORE the turbo, so NEEDS it

And besides, like I said all along, for maximum drivability and economy a bypass is good for off/low throttle, just that bypassing it at full boost thing (on a car with charger post turbo) is a load of ballbags like wastegate chatter.

That engine will not have been design for BIG power....

no modern engines are
