Default g3 compound for my focus TDCI imperial blue??

i have been extrmely frustrated with the cleaning of my car at the present time, the front bonnet has tar marks all over it, so then i go over to ebay to see what i can snatch up.

found this g3 compound.

has anyone used it? and the end results were.............

G3 is used with a mop (buffer) its like a harsh t-cut. Wouldnt recommend you use it by hand!! Hope this helps.

not for hand use - it will scratch the bonnet. What kind of marks are we talking about? Pics?

its just 2-3mm dots of tar all over the bonnet, t-cut wont budge them!

Use a clay bar, you can get the mequiars clay bar kit from halfords, that should do it
Then just go over it with polish and a wax.

JUST done my red XR2 by hand with exactly the same stuff, came up A1!, no marks at all and paint was quite dull in places. Didnt even get the mop out!!

BTW my local motor factors did that size for Ł9

Look under the bright sun or halogen lamps and you will see swirls.

I'd do as benn, and clay it.

Have done mate and like i say its perfect, if you use plenty of water and take your time its fine (worked in a bodyshop for a while)

Can be done, Ive done it before.
But if you havent used the stuff before then I would advise using a mop as disaster can happen.

Better of claying it tbh.
