DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT buy one

Biggest waste of 130quid ever IMO

Totally useless peice of wank

I bought one for a recent trip, and found it less then useless, takes AGES to connect to satelites, and loose's connection all the time, again taking ages to reconnect each time.

After its reconnected (finally, if it does at all) it will try to re plan the route, usally because u have moved so farr it struggles to re plan, on mine either taking several min's, or just crashing the whole unit

IMO, dont bother with it, buy a TOMTOM, wish i had

tomtom's a much nicer package

Also on the I3 it takes a while to set addresses, as it has no touchscreen unlike the tomtom

Also tomtom shows alot more usefull stuff on the screen, current speed, time to destination, next turn, road name etc etc

I am using the Streepilot i5 here in NYC. Its an awsome little gadget and i am very satisfied. Actually its much better than the GPS in our ML class, which only includes NY state and CT. My garmin has all of the US, Canada and Puerto Rico....

You can easily update maps, insert new ones, points of interest etc etc and its pretty damn precise.

Main advantage its portable so you can use it with all your cars. You can use it even walking and holding it in your hands...

Wen't through all the "shall i buy a garmin" "oo those navman 320's are only £150.

In the end I got a Tom Tom Go 300 from www.globalpositioningsystems.co.uk refurbed, everything in shrink wrapping with 1 year warranty for £200 including VAT. Ace purchase and glad I went with TomTom. It just works, no fuss or hassle
