you should hold out and not bid, then just wack in your max price you want to pay a few seconds before it ends

I work nights in the wk so if im REALY kine i just put in my max when i see it sort of thing tbh
Got cought out to many times put in a bid in the last 30secs and the computer goes tips up or ebay and i miss it


Im not fussed like i say if someone else wonts it more then there going to get it @ the end of the day if its over my max

I don't understand why people bid on it when it still has days to go anyway! Like FIl says, wait till last minute, whack in the ABSOLUTE maximum you are preparred to pay - if it's meant to be you'll get it, if it goes above what you can afford/preparred to pay, then you wouldn't have got it anyway, regardless of sticking the bid in when it had 5 days to go or 5 secs to go....
