Just back,
There were not too many in the que for the track, infact i would say today was quite dead to past years.
not many on track, not many spectators walking around and the stalls and for def was down in numbers.
I dont know whats happening now-a-days,CC used to be packed and awkward to find a spectators spot on the top corner(just before the start/finish straight) but today twas easy.
Hope it gets better for next year.

I seem to remember last year there were three rows or cars queuing for track, this year there was only two!

He has Gaz coilovers and no interior - plus cut slick tyres - otherwise bascially standard!
Was going well, but better brakes will help him race the Pugs!

You check your figures, im sure that will tell the whole story.

very dead dave .. no queue to get on atall
well sorted out for signing on too
think they need 3 lanes of cars queuing tho .. as we were backed up .. but there were not that many incidents so i got 4 sessions in easily
went for no 5 and the car said it had had enough

Not good mate What was up with it in the end? I was letting my car cool down when someone had come to tow you out from where you pushed it! Took you a while to get it moved then? The cossie behind you went off on the first lap of the session. Seen you potching around when ya towed it back out.

think it flooded itself and killed 2 plugs
so now tucked away feeling sorry for itself
just need to find out why it flooded now .. was sat there warming the car up and it just cut out .. wouldn't restart if the fuel pump was running

I have to agree with what st3v3 has said above and like him i have been going there since the RS track days first started there.
I brought two friends along to watch the track action today only to be asked why half the participants were not Fords !!
In past years a lot of the cars were high powered RS's with just the odd non-ford getting on track, where as this year the quickest (visable) car on track was a quality MGB V8.
Before anyone gets their axe into my head let me say that the organisation and the cars in the show ground area was top notch as always, But there was a lack of RS cars on track compared to years gone by !!

the show was also spread out over a larger area this year so everybody can't be in the same place at the same time.

for me personally, it as a fucking good day!
ok the show was not as contained as previuos years, meaning that it was more spread out, but the numbers were there none the less!
i got a ride out with paul swift for a few laps in the fezzer st, fucking awsome, and then i was the passenger for his first stint of his action stuff, and i was then shoved in the boot for the drive on 2 wheels brilliant!!
the track action was great, you really cant complain over previous years where too many cars were allocated track time, meanging lots off of offs and early exits.
and now im fooking knackered and off to bed!

RS DJ Wrote :''We can't force people to bring Fords and you also have to remember RS's are getting older and fewer every year alot of big powered cozzies are being broken and sold.''
I have to agree with that too, its hard to face that there will be less RS's each year !![/quote]

Absolutely TOP day for me!!!!
NO queues at signing on, took me 5 mins tops. Out on track just after 9, 5 sessions done by lunchtime Another 3 in the afternoon saw me out of petrol for the second time and out of tyres LOL.
100% fantastic day - saw nothing of the rest of the show as usual LOL so can't comment, the people who came with me had a good time though.
Met up with a few people, old and new, good to meet Doug, and catch up with Eagle, Sketch, SiB
