Rolls - how you doing mate. Very few people in this world who are on the level. I remember when my turbo exploded at over 172mph at Brunters...most people were just and stood there frozen. Unlike you boys who got in the car with fire extinguiser and saved the day. Will never forget that dude. Mucho respect. If your feeling brave enough we'll see if we can beat mine and Cossie Paul's Hatfield tunnel top speed record at the Ford Sport meet.

that SV fiesta was in the mags a few months ago.

it looked pretty high spec but cant remember the details....

didnt one of pauls timing runs give a 4.1 0-60 or something??? but it was spurious reading hence the 4.89 was fastest he'd claim?

How does it compare??
I just used that calculator on my best ever times at the pod and it produced this :

1/8th Mile Time: 9.478 (in seconds)
1/8th Mile Speed: 80.32 (in MPH)
Your 0 to 60 time is: 5.29 seconds

How accurate do you think that could be for a RST running 220 bhp on knackered road tyres, getting a perfect run and doing a 14.38 @ 100.35mph run at the pod ????

Well I also did a 0-60 @ traxx a few years back, just as it poored down with rain and with some wheelspin did a 7.02

I know Trax have a bed rep for accurate 0-60, but if that was a true time in the wet, could a low 6 sec be possible for 220 bhp RST in the dry ?

I have always wanted to know the 0-60 figure, would one of them performance meters give a reasonable 0-60 reading? i.e AC-22 Performance Meter ??

andys 220 turbo rover was 5.2s 0-60mph, on a cold crap day with 380bhp.
i reckon the maestro is now on the very low 4s times having done the 1/8th mile at pod in 7.9s @ 104mph. launch control, full throttle shifts and sets off in 2nd gear!

I think that link is full of crap that calculates your time!

Me:

1/8 time: 9.007 secs
1/8mph: 85.410mph

Your 0-60 is 4.4 secs..... WTF

xr-stu - I have seen and know a few people in Canada and the States who have FWD Honda's and Focus's doing those times all day however I think you'll find that they're not properly road legal (which is what this conversation is about)...unless someone wants to prove me wrong.

Thanks - Sunny.
