Default Electrical wiring experts....quick question.....

Is there likely to be any problem caused by having an engine loom sitting next to a battery cable (the live to the starter)???

Just want to make sure before I fit the loom and the battery cable...........

Ideal routing means they run alongside each other.

any advice please???

Are you running the output from the alternator direct to the battery or via the starter? My alt output is well away from the loom, although the main starter cable is close. The main starter cable only carries current for a few seconds during starting, unless it carries the output from the alternator.
