Bonnet raisers will make you look like you have a broken bonnet latch or a cowboy that just been at your car, go for real vents! Ohh yeah and bonnet raisers defeat the purpose of "drag co-efficiency" and will completely defeat the point of aero dynamics within the original parameters of your car. Bonnet raisers are cheap for a reason, so that chavs can afford em and make the car look worse IMO. But each to their own and some ppl like em, but I don't.

Another tip, without looking like a cunt, would be to take the rubber strip at the back of the engine out, not sure if the ERST have them but most others do.. If not, raise it up slighty, not 2" like every other dick.

Some people say yes, other's say no. If you have a cooling issue to begin with, surely it would be more practical to resolve that, rather then raise the rear of the bonnet ?

 

Dont specifically have a cooling issue as such Dan, but keeping the bay as cool as possible has to be a good thing?

 

How much does it help? Whats the underbonnet temperature drop?
What did you use to measure it with ?
