Trevcannon, Smart arse ! LOL

Dan, I just bought another one - hopefully pick it up next week !

Does anyone know the spec on this Saph ? I know it run a 11.07 @ 131 mph - but the gezza lost it & it ended up all smashed up down a valley !

Just loved that car from the 1st time i see GIS 2 many years ago ! Hence the dark rims/look on my Saph when i had it

It took part in record attempt "the flying kilometre" but unfourtunately the organizers didnt leave enough braking distance or something actually failed on the car so it kept on going into the woods.

After this it was repaired and sold on to new owner so its still alive although not looking quite the same.

I was actually standing behind it when it did the 11,07s run, quite achivment baring in mind it was "ages" ago.

MWF, thanks

Chip, PMSL it's commin along nicely, think he's gettin finance on a brand new M5 Ł75K then we're goin one step further & stickin a 1.3 pushrod lump in it from a KA to keep with the ford theme Clever huh ? PMSL I can bet any money thats never been done before ? ? ? And we're tryin to start a new trend - instead of gettin little car & stickin a highly tunable big engine in it we're goin for a car thats as big as a house & stickin a loada shyte under the bonnet ! Sorted !

Rich, you know that bruva ! I gotta register it on the road first & get it painted - can't be drivin it in that colour ! I got a rep to protect PMSL

Dan your not the only one who misses the mile, everyone i speak to does, so when im back on the road propa we'll get back to the old school way of things

Yeah me brothers got robbed.

Mine on the other hand, died

I was pullin out the BP (top of Sutton) and as always i left there in a cloud of smoke & side ways antic's when i heard a bang ! Knew straight away it was number 27 rear diff for the year & i'd run outta parts to re-build it so thought shyte what am i gonna do now ? ? ? so pulled over & just see loadsa smoke from the bonnet vents - bloody thing was on fire ! Engine loom went up & took half the dash with it before i could disconnect the battery & put it out !

After that i gave up & broke the poor thing

So 818 LYA's little sister is comin out to play (hands off chip ! LOL) and she promises to be bigger & better than the last ! Mwahahahahaha !

It's got a decent lump already in there, built by Pj Motorsport with all the right bits !

7.2/1 c/r
BD16's
Full Grp A head
Dry sump
RS 500 i/c
Fedanza flywheel
Twin plate clutch
Straight cut dogbox
Gripper diff
Ap 330's / 6 pots
Tarmac coil overs
Full Grp A shell with cage linkin front & rear turrets
etc etc

He he, i can't wait !

Only prob is, it was built for over 500hp but when the guy was out on certain tracks he would just light the 10" rear tyres up out of the corners on every corner, so Pj down gradded the turbo to a T34 & ice blues so he could use the power !

So i gotta find me a nice T4 or GT30 & some big injectors then it's..... Oh Davey boy

Okay maybe not quite that fast but won't stop me tryin ! LOL I need my mile crown back !

JB,

According to Dave you never had the mile crown because he dished out a big can of whoop ass on you

Seems like a top spec especially with the dog box and dry sump. Ave some of that

PMSL, yeah course Dave is gonna say that !

But ask him what happen on the way back up the mile ? ? ?

He properly killed me off the line, like i waited for the lights to go red then green again - that how much i got mullard off the line ! Full respect to that man, HE CAN LAUNCH ! LOL

I just about caught him by the round about then we came back round and it was all over for Davey ! He he But he'll say he weren't givin it - but i know he was !

The car sounds alright don't it & it's got the diff which was the weak spot in my armary (spelling) LOL
