Default pc to plasma

right i today had sky + fitted.

The guys told me NOt to link the pc to the plasma tv screen (samsung 32 inch) as it instantly burns the screeen??

If thats the case why make the tvs?

So basically has anyone else had this issue?

Is it true?

Logo's can cause screen burn too, if left on long enough. It's a static display that is of concern/which causes screen burn.

I had a Pc connected to a 50" Samsung Plasma for 6months straight,which was on 8hrs a day everyday (cept sundays) at work. I got very little screen burn, and what screen burn you did notice was gone by the next day.....

Just run a screensaver that kicks in after 5 mins doing nothing.

Watching movies on your pc or games shouldn't cause screen burn.

(unless you play tetris all day )

As above, unless your games leave the start bar at the bottom of the screen - that can burn in. It does take a while though.

Also worth trying to do is not have the brightness and contrast set too high.
