Towneley Park, Burnley directions anyone?. . . .
Anyone got directions to Lancs RSOC Show at Burnley this sunday at Towneley Park? The route finders don't seem to have heard of it ! Need from J36 M6 heading south. Anyone travelling south through Cumbria or from Lancaster area on the day and getting there for the start of the show? Might tag along

As the above post,
M6 - M61 - M65, junction 10 then follow signs for Towneley Hall. We'll also be putting directional signs from the Motorway junction to the show.
About 5 minutes from the Motorway

Off M65 @ Junction 9, onto A679 towards Halifax/Todmorden, first set of lights
turn RIGHT, past the 2 speed cameras, up the hill (two lanes) watch out for
the feds hiding behind the butty van at the top of the hill. At next set
of lights STRAIGHT ON, past the Coach & Horses pub (could be wagon & horses
though) down the hill, at lights turn SHARP LEFT towards Burnley centre,
down the hill past the speed camera, keep going until you come to a bathroom
showroom on the left called Hargreaves, Towneley is on the Right.

PF stand was organised by NIKKI. 7 cars booked on so far
As for directions, the ones I gave were the ones agreed with the council and police prior to the event - please use junction 10 off the M65 thanks.

This show IS one of the best shows of the year without a shaddow of a doubt.
Which other show has
Bikini Girls
Hunks in Trunks
Stage with Live Band and DJ
Beer Tent & Garden seating area
as well as the usual static show stuff like concours, Motorsport display (Real Rally Cars) etc etc etc

Thanx peeps.
Me and another S1 gonna be passing Forton Services about 8.15am. Can we meet you there or anywhere else on route and join the convoy ?
3 or 4 of us going about 8 in morning from lancaster to be on cumbria group stand.
