What mounts are used?

I understand that the pinto block & cossie are simular :S

So would a cossie lump go in on pinto mounts?? or am i thinking about this the wrong way?

i had mine with 330bhp on standard pinto engine rubbers
blocks aren't similar -they're identical in that respect
did loads of trackdays with no problem

you need to mod the crossmember though, and sump as well to do it properly

but i've changed mine to chassis mounts now as i didn't want to rip my nearside mount in 2 when launching...

not in a Capri - standard 1.6/2.0 crossmember is OK for use with a standard 2wd cossie sump

On the subject of classic fords, how much welding do you need to do for a panhard rod and coilovers? Do you have to have a 4 link kit with them or can you get away with just trailing arms?

Ok many thanks guys..... Its a 2.8i at the moment... But i want cossie power...

So I was thinking it would be easy to swap over to the 2.0 crossmember

As im guessing i would have to make custom mounts to mount it in place of the v6
