Default Escort Cossie Exhaust With Sport Cat

Anyone got experience of these, and what are you running, because I've bought a JW Racing one new, and was assured it was MOT legal, and it's failed the MOT.

Anyone else using an aftermarket exhaust with Sport Cat, what is your experience of them?

Trev I have a Graham Goode full exhaust with sports cat -MADMark said it was a good exhaust but the cat can get restrictive at about 350 BHP.
I love it-the fit is great the tail pipe looks cool, it sounds lovely and it doesn't narrow as it goes through the silencers it stays 3 or 3 1/2" right through.
over £800.00 though
oh , and it sails through MOTs every time

Mat, is the sport cat part of the downpipe section of the exhaust? Do you think that section would mate up to my Mongoose exhaust, because I know you can buy that bit separately from Graham Goode, well they advertise it on the website anyway? Does it have a flange to bolt it to the next section of exhaust or does it push together?

Very I would say. 3 cats has got to be restrictive. If I had the standard exhaust I'd put it on for the test though. I've got the CATS but not the rest of it.

yes it is part of the down pipe and I think it's push fit-but dont quote me on that - I would imagine a skilled welder could work wonders and join the 2 no probs
They were available seperately I am sure when I got mine but this was 5 years ago

as said above, mine as the ggr sports cat and running 350 bhp, stu at msd told me that they do not restrict the engine at all, if they do it would not be measurable.
