Default Overfueling cossie.....

Working at the moment on a 2wd Saph. Every Tom, Dick and Harry has had there hands on it, (including rebuilds from somebody on here.... very cowboy )

Its in a bit of a mess electrically. Left the car stood for a week, it was fine before. Come back to it and it struggles to start. Managed to get it going just for it to cut out. Now it won't idle, and just misfires badly all the time. The amound of smoke coming from the rear end, its obviously overfueling. Badly!

Plugs are soaking after trying to turn it over.

Any ideas what it could be, spent hours on it today

MAP sensor or ECT sensor would be first on my list.

electric problems?

dodgy loom?

get it to a pro with a pectel monitor (or similar) and they'll be able to diagnose the fault in minutes rather than all the guessing you get on BBs
