Default What was the cure for non animated smilies?

my smilies have stop moving all of a sudden? ive tried clearing cache, history and all that, shut down and restarted browser, still not working, any ideas?

Im using firefox by the way

come on someone must know as theres been loads of posts about this(i cant work search!).
Oh and they dont work in I.E 7 either

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>"Multimedia" as the sub category> Tick the "Play animations in web pages"

Its ticked already mate, but i knew it wasnt that because its been working fine for months and months, and today it just stopped

Did you uninstall something like Java or Flash player etc? Although I don't thinkt that would have done it either, so I really don't know!

nope havent uninstalled anything, i know other people have had this problem before and they normally get told to delete cookies and stuff like that which ive done

Could be your firewall settings/zone alarm or norton that are stopping them.

actually ive just gone from the free version of zonealarm to the pro version so maybe its stopped something as its more thorough, ill have a good look through the options
