Default Best stuff for cleaning flies off of car....

I've got the dreaded task of minting Sarahs MR2 Roadster tomorrow as someone is coming over to look at it tomorrow evening. Being black the front of the car is always covered in flies!!

Whats the best stuff to use to get roadkill off?? Ive tried t-cut, normal auto glym and McGuiars polish and even the Auto Glym tar removed but nothing shifts the boogers!

Any ideas??

Cheers
Chris

Nice one cheers chaps!! Baby Wipes??!! Interesting! I've tried the usual bits and pieces but never baby wipes!! Someone also mentioned Oven Cleaner??!! I cant risk a brilo pad as she'll kick my arse if i scratch it!! A mate has just offered to mop it for me so will leave him doing that and see whats left afterwards!!!

Cheers

Traffic Film Remover, needs diluting aswell.

Dont think you can get it from halfords, we get ours from autosmart, can be used for loads of things.
We use it to get bugs of, clean interiors and engines.

very versitile

And corrosive when neat. Try leaving a aluminium filler tube in the neck of your jet wash with that in the tank.

I did it - went back about 2 weeks later and it had completely eaten away the tube

Slippery stuff it is too

I always go for a chamois (the faker the better!) in REALLY hot water - as hot as you can stand to put your hands in, dont wring it, buy lay it on the car over the fly splats.
Leave it a minute or two and they just wipe away.
Its the only way I can get them off my crash helmet - and its FREE!
