Default hard a fook drill bit,..which one

as above,.....

to drill out snapped stud,...

just keep "polishing" the sud with other bits, which is no good..


want one that will devour the sud,...

You do know to drill in with a small bit first then a larger bit dont ya? A large bit wont penetrate a stud without a pilot hole....

Tungsten Carbide drill bits always do the job for me, you can get router ones as well which act on the edges as well as actually drilling in

Worked a treat on drilling out a wheel stud on an old car of mine recently.

Agreed tungsten carbide are awesome bits..

But ive drilled out loads of studs and other hard bolts over the years with cheap B&Q bits...just by drilling a small hole then going in with the right sizo one...theres no need to fook quality bits up...

Use a slow drill as well. Fast speeds will burn out the drill bit.
