RWD "Drivers" may disagree with that statement (I mean those that really know the beast), as I believe on a proper track in dry conditions RWD can be as equal if not better than 4WD.

on slicks yes
but dont agree on road legal tyres
hence if you want to win in the ford saloons with dunlop do1j on you need over 500 bhp and four wheel drive.
and my merc is rear wheel drive, but with slicks,
most people who do track days a lot use slicks but this does not allow them, but you need a cage?
