to be honest, if the guy had been white, black, afro carrabian, chineese, asian, mexican etc etc it still dosn't change the fact that he was a theiving low life bastard I simply mentioned he was pakistani as thats what he was.

1) Where did you get the Cab from (Prebooked or Random car)
2) How DO you know the Taxi Driver stole it and not his next passenger? As for the turning off, how low was the Battery?

Once, after a good night out in middlesborough me an ma m8 were beaten up by a set of asian taxi drivers then they took us to a cash point and made us withdraw as much money as i could then they fukked off....bastards! however i got the police involved and they were prosecuted

TBH MAYBE the guy did at that moment have a dislike for Asians, he had just got his phone knicked, by as we all now know a Pakistani not an Indian. He was angry and just sharring with everyone as much info as he could pass on in an irrate rage, NOW if it had been say a white Scouse/Geordie/Cockney/Irish/Welsh or whatever and he mentioned that fact, which he PROBABLY WOULD have (wouldnt you in the same circumstances if say u was from Liverpool and say someone clearly a Cockney had stolen your phone) if it had been one of them taking his phone.

Now most people Know you got an Asian family jules and does anyone have a pop at you for it, NO I dont think so most wish you all well as a family

I got to say tho I do hate it when "THE RACE" card is used either way, it just creates bigger gaps, and makes people more aware. People dont like having to constantly watch what they say as not to offend just by saying something in a certain way, which makes problems even bigger.

And for gods sakes some of the biggest HATERS of Indians Pakistanis Blacks etc are the Indians Pakistanis Blacks, you want to hear what they call each other at work and tis always these groups that end up in punch ups (as in proper physical violence) as in the other morning when one called to another across the car park which ended in the police being called AGAIN

1) random car, but had all the normal gumph on it, ie plasterd in numbers, licence plate on the back, big yellow sign on top etc.
2) Because I live in the middle of nowhere, and I must have been out the cab 20 seconds when I realized it was gone , so I ran to my house, which must have taken another 20 secs, then rang my phone. It rang and rang until it went to answerphone, then rang it about 4 or 5 more times, until I rang it for the last time when it went straight to answerphone . I tried a few more times just to make sure it wasn't a bad reception area, then came to the conclusion that the theiving bastard had realized "ah, free phone!" and turned it off then I rang O2 and cancelled it, so at least he couldn't rape my bill ringing animal porn lines or such like. I charged the battery fully just before I went out no more than 8 hours earlier, so no way did it run out. It was just stolen plain and simple, and I know Its partially my own fault for letting it drop out my pocket in the first place, but its still a bit off to have it blatently turned off and stolen by the guy who has just been chatting quite happily to you, and to whom you have just paid a hefty fare and a generous tip .

Thats why I made him drop me just around the corner from my house, as I always do with taxis, as I don't want theiving fuckers like him seeing the 2 cossies and various other cars sat at my house, only for them to come back later and rob them

All I can say is what a sad state of affairs we live in , when I was in the Falklands only a few weeks ago,( I'm in the RAF) I found a phone in the grass outside miles from any accomodation, dried it off and managed to get it working again, rang a few numbers that might be able to help me locate the owner (using my own money and phonecards, as mobiles dont work out there) , and eventually got hold of the lads mum, who told me his name and where he worked etc, and managed to get it back to him . Now he didn't even offer to buy me a beer as thanks,(not why I did it anyway) but he was very greatful and It must have saved him lots of hassle.

What hassle would it have been for the cabbie to answer my phone, and say yes mate back in 2 mins, and got a drink for his troubles??

TBH its not even the phone that bugs me, its just all the numbers I have lost, all the videos of various things, and a lot of pictures of my brothers MK 1 escort Rs mexico, which he has now sold and we have no other pictures of as I never got round to downloading them that really pisses me off .

All I can say is I hope I bump into the fucker in brum, and if you own a silver honda accord taxi with black leather, watch the fook out lol
