Has anyone ever broke a Zetec crank through power (ie NOT det or oil issues)?

Ive never seen one, and if not, how they know? Internet rumour mill?

Colin has had the week of work so has been grafting over time.

In a week he has manged to make the boost pipes, make the WG take off and screamer pipe, finish the last bit of the exhaust, make the turbo damper, fabricate/fit the new fuel tank and plenty more. Bloody amazing really

I hooked up my laptop to the ECU last night (after finally curing my serial port adaptor probs on the new one) and did a quick run through the sensors to check correct operation. TPS was wired in reverse, but that was an easy fix. Funniest sight was getting Col to blow through the dump valve take off for a laugh. he actually managed a 2kpa pressure increase

As long as we can fit the fuel line by the weekend we may be ready for a start up!
