Default cos burning oil,

the escos has recently started to burn oil, nice blue smoke from the exhaust i have checked all the usual reasons.i have started to take the cylinder head off to have a look inside.on no 1 cylinder i have oil in the exhaust manifold. does anybody know a common cause for no1 cylinder to have oil in it? it has a coopers ring gasket, and long studs fitted.also are the long studs and nuts reuseable?has anybody got a new coopers ring gasket that they dont need?iam praying its not a piston problem
