Got smoke on over run/ letting off. After overheated engine as hose popped off at santa pod at USC changed head gasket on the camp site!

So No head not skimmed.

Turbo has a little play on shaft.

Just done a Comp test and got just under 9 Bar on each pot.

 

was it you at the back of the site then behind the fair ground that I seen with the head off sat under a gazebo messin about ?

I did think that but the S1 were never water cooled were they. Plus as soon as the hose popped off I shut her down.

 

i think lee get that head skimmed and see as like you said it was not skimmed and we were in a field we only had limited tools with us try that and see how it goes from there i really dont think it is the turbo , next time i think we should bring a mobile garage with us the luck we had that weekend
