Rolls-Royce is offering 15 apprenticeships for school-leavers and young people aged 16-24 to train for skilled jobs at its facility in Goodwood, West Sussex.

The apprenticeship programme will start in September 2006 and will combine study for nationally recognised qualifications with on-the-job training. Apprentices will work alongside experienced craftspeople in the paint, wood, leather, assembly or maintenance areas.

Rolls-Royce has already employed 37 young people on six- or 12-month placement schemes this year and says it is committed to training young people to work in Britain's manufacturing industry.

Potential applicants for the new programme are invited to email their CVs, with a covering letter, to recruitment@rolls-roycemotorcars.com.
