Default RUNNING PROBS FRST PLZ HELP!! stu??? any other tuners??

This is in the wrong section i know, but this is getting urgent so i need help from all you lot with experience!!!!

ok you may know my frst is close now its been off the road for 4 years now, well its all ready BUT it wont run properly now maybe this wouldn't be a problem but i can't drive it to a tuner as the car literally won't drive more than 3metres ...

i can get the car to idle but on the co emissions the car is at 5-6 instead of the 3 it should be...

heres the problem tho when i push the throttle the car revs slightly then the engine almost dies then when i release the throttle it will go back to the idle, then when trying to drive i will go to pull away and as soon as i release the clutch the car coughs and splutters and stalls NO amount of throttle will allow it to go...

i have replaced the iscv, tps, mixture screw no change... basically i dont know what it is i have removed the msd 195 chip and its still the same turned the boost down still the same... i am clutching at straws now i live in hereford and places like MSD or GROVE are 4hrs away in the state the car is in it would need trailoring but i would like to get the car running to take it somewhere, i know its difficult trying to explain when you dont have the car in front but all i want is the car to run in some sort SO i can take it somewhere

time is running out FORD FAIR is in 6 weeks i have ordered my tickets and i want the car there!!!

ANY HELP AT ALL PLZ

Map sensor is either fucked, or there's a short in the wiring? CO pot is gubbed? or set wrong?

sounds exactly like what mine did when i put my engine in! try swapping the plug from the map sensor with the other one on that panel ( don't know what its called) but i plugged them in the wrong way round and it ran but as soon as revved under load it would die!

its OFAB, basically i sold all my old bits as i wanted to go ZT but, its now a low comp 1.6 accralite pistons and steel rods i bought the ecu, map sensor and loom from a breaker...i had my old inlet still and running a T2 hybrid, got mustang 252cc inj on too...

the car hasn't driven since i fitted it as parts are new /second hand so unsure if the ecu or even the map sensor could be faulty, would it be worth buying new ones???

Are you certain youve bought a FRST loom and ecu? Ive seen breakers label these in PEN when they are actually EFI 1AFA's

yes certain mate as it came out of a friends car who has started his own breaking business... all the sensors ecu and loom were off the same frst...

but as we know sometimes if things are disturbed it can cause things to break..

would the map sensor effect it that badly!?

Map sensor asks for the correct fuelling of the ecu Directly. It has the biggest affect on the fuelling overall. You have plugged in the ECT sensor i presume?

Do you know anyone with a cossie? Your map sensor is the same as a std 2bar from any sierra cosworth.
