rear whel bearings..erst.. how to?
ok all, ther must be a right way and a wrong way to put wheel bearings in, iv put a set in my rear, genuine ford and there great ..no bother.. put another set in the other side and bought them from the rs show at heaves hotel for a tenner..new.. now my wifes frst had some front bearings put in by a local garage and it took them 3 attemps toget it right , meaning thay became noisy after a week or so , so is it cus ther not ford one,s or is it the way you put them in? the new set iv just put in have now become noisy after about 2 weeks, so whats the crack..

As above, the races need to be changed as thy wear allong with the rollers/bearings.
Also the races need to fitted correctly so thet are fully seated in the hubs and packed well with grease.
Finally they need to be adjusted correctly, not too loose or too tight.
