got quoted Ł80 from a paint shop, for 1L ford diamond white, 1L thinner, 1L hardener

thought that was a bit expensive

theres a couple of paint shops on ebay sell fairly cheap paint, but then you have delivery on top.

Yep you need hardener, and you will need an air fed mask to spray 2pack paint. That is if you like being able to breath!!

Celly is air drying, 2pack dries via a chemical reaction (ie using the hardner)

2k is dangerous shit, legally you arent allowed to use it, inless you operate a sealed booth which filters paint fumes before venting to atmosphere... Which I doubt you have as you would know the difference if you did

u will need 2 parts paint to 1 part hardener then a splash of 2k thinners!

i take it uve got all the compressor and spray guns then?

to spray 2k paint u will need the necessary respirator as the paint contains isocyanate which will damage your lungs severley!!!
