Welding cast iron manifolds

Can you weld cast iron exhaust manifolds ok?
Ie to weld T3 flanges on them, and so on?

Im guessing yes, but i dunno, so thought id ask

Cool man, happy days, them Thunderbird manifolds look like the most inefficant bits of shit ever, but i think theyl do the basic job id want from em.
