WHICH ALTERNATOR?
whats the best alternator to use on erst, been told to use a zetec one is this true if so from what car, thanks in advance

apparently the zetec gives a better output etc, when lights and stereo on it seems to draw too much power and stereo cuts out, was told zetec one would cure that, not sure myself thats i ask

A standard escort rs turbo alternator in good condition will be fine.
it is designed to run with all the electrics running, full beams fogs, heated front and rear, windows, heaters etc and not dim the lights, so if you running a stereo and it doing it, then your ICE system needs tweaking down or you need to get a brand new alternator to cope.
