Remember Ellis`s car well,Didn`t he spend about Ł100k over about 5 years on it...
Was well radical at the time.......6R4 front diff in a fabricated beam at the back,2 sets of big brakes on each side at the front, full touring car motor, and didn`t it run a MS90 sequential at one point...

Spec sounds mental - any performance figures for it, was this every mag featured?

No, TWO CALLIPERS per disc on the front (was wank though, as it overheated the discs - I saw him crash into the gravel and rip his RS500 splitter off as the brakes failed going into Russel at Snetterton on a track day ).

but as Mike said, the disks used to cook after a couple of laps and the brakes failed..
Went like fook though, remember him stuffing it into a bank and totalling the shell.... ....Did get re-shelled though..

The Desert Storm owned by Kevin Gribble who ran Turbosystems in London is sitting in my garage and has been there since 1993. I get sooooooooo much stick from people about it lol, I just say "One day"

Isn't the car that Kevin had built by turbosystems a different car again? Sure snow storm was bought by someone on here and is being rebuilt. Great to see they are still about!

Snowstorm is no longer owned by Ellis, it's was sold about 4 years ago. It's currently sitting safely in a garage and will be rebuilt back to its former glory, horrible 3 spokes, blue dash and fake walnut trim and all lol

Always remember going to castle Combe supercar day when the xj220 had just been released, there was one there they had 500hp then snow storm turned up with 550hp, mental back then to see a 2.0 turbo with that power.
