FAO French peeps or people who know about N. France
Right might be going to Lorient in N W France. Any one know the closest Ferry crossing that stops there? Also if i choose to Fly is the an airport close by or just a case of flying to Paris and train over?

Snowy Astra, Lorient is in Brittanny, nowhere near luxembourg 
You should be able to catch a ferry from Plymouth(I think) to Roscoff then drive to lorient - Approx. 100 miles.
Or, catch a ferry in portsmouth to saint malo, that's 130miles or so.
Lorient has an airport, not sure who flies there though
Alternatives for flying would be Rennes, Brest and Quimper.

One fo my mates lives in Portsmouth who wants to go so maybe Portsmouth to Saint Malo. Will look into it cheers
