Default Detailed Underside..........

My Escos already has the underside detailed with all parts either painted, powder coated or polished. The whole floor area has been sealed and painted light grey.

As soon as we get to the end of the summer, i want to re-paint the whole underside in Auralis blue to match.

My question is, how would I go about this? I have a good, clean, heated garage to do the work in but could I just brush it on without leaving brush marks, or would it really have to be sprayed on? Im thinking if i put enough on, the finish should be smooth as its in a heated garage? Also, what sort of paint would I need to do the job?

Any thoughts or opinions on this guys?

Thanks, Rich.

Spraying would give a better finish mate, would be a pain to do though!!
Just put it on axle stands, mask it up, make sure its all degreased prime and paint. Someone on here has done it too their white 3dr there are some pics about too.

Dont really want to get into spraying it mate. I assume you men ian3door's white cossie. Thats a top car. I beleive thats sprayed straight onto bare metal. Means been sealed then painted grey. Im thinking if I can brush it over the top with auralis blue paint then I could do a pretty decent job if the temperatures right.

cossiegreg1 I still drive it whenever I can mate as long as weathers good.

Brush painting will give an acceptable finish just don't use a fast activator like rocket with the paint.

3m do a special paint container that goes on top of the gravety feed guns that lets you paint upside down if you know some one with a body shop ask them about it

Looks good that mate. Mine looks just like that only light grey. I was wondering if I could just repaint over the top with auralis??? I assume it shouldnt be a problem to paint straight over the top.

Im also having the lower arms chromed and trying to get a chrome or alloy fuel tank made up. Should look pretty good.
