Hi folks
I need to get a clutch today before my local place closes at 6pm, so can someone please advise on the following as soon as poss please if anyone knows ?
I have a Series 1, and my local place has a clutch specified for 1986-1992 Escort RS Turbo, my car is a 1985, but are the Series 1 and 2 clutches the same ? If so i will just get this one
Cheers

The plates got a different pattern on it (for the locating lugs/dowels/whatever there called) so it just wont physically go on. I had this problem recently after buying an s2 kit and realising i needed an s1 kit in the end
