Default 3dr rev counter problem

my rev counter is working but it reads a lot less than it should do. It was working fine yesterday but turned it on this morning and it now has the problem. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

so not working ok then

under reading would be a symptom of a poor signal from the coil, the stuff above will help you trace the wire for any breaks

if you know how to measure resistance then do that from the coil end of the cable to the clock multiplug end

could always just run your own cable from the clocks direct to the coil (like i have)
