I need some for fabrication but all the stuff Im finding on the net are in much longer lengths than I need. As a consequence they are expensive........
If anybody has some spare they dont need please let me know how much you want for it. I only need about 12-16"

Ahh, you are moving it cool.
Does this mean you can weld? You could probably sell the old mounts to that omega bloke for a fair bit, pretty sure they're the same as the pinto ones, its just his chassis thats different.

2.5" * 2mm is a lot stronger torsionally than 1.75" * 3mm
you could have a 1/2m length of it for nothing if you could collect, but it would cost you a bit in fuel

what wall thickness are you after? CDS or ERW? got loads of off cuts in the steel rack at work as we build roll cages , plenty that length,

got some 42mm t45 wat i use for main hoops on roll cages 3.5mm wall
hot finsih cds bends to easy dont use that and erw go for at lease 5mm wall cuz its shite
if not most tube supplers will sell 1/2 lenghts about £40 for t45 or £15 for erw
