dvla log book help needed
long story but i bought a car from my mate 2 weeks ago cos i wanted the engine.Then last week i gave up on the idea so i advertised it for sale.then yesterday some foreigner came and bought the car.i made him fill out the log book but cos im thick 
i gave him the bit i was meant to send off and i kept the bit he should of had 
.Thing is the car just ran out of tax and i dont want my mate gettin fines cos i doubt the person who i sold the car to will send off the log book.so do dvla have a number i can ring and explain this to or what should i do? cheers
