jam the keys in and rip the stereo out with your fingers in the tape slot. If you still cant do it get someone stronger to help you

Quite a few OE stereos have a bolt at the rear. Not sure if Ford ever did that but it could explain your problems.......lol

park it in romford overnight, and as if by magic in the morning your headunit will be removed

tug the fooker out!!you may have to push the keys to the side slightly aswell

Are the keys clicking into place? If they are just jamming in and then coming back out when you pull hard on them, they're not getting put in right in the first place. Just keep trying mate

always seem to have this problem myself, they are a real mare - alternatively go to halfords and get them to remove it, they have the proper keys and know how they are all fixed!

Dunno, mine is OE fitment in a late spec 92 saph with the CD underneath it.

It has the mad looking multi plugs for the CD and amp to connect.
