Hello,
I have a friend who has an escort cosworth,
He has recently bought this and is in need of some slight attention,(tiny bits of rust)
hes decided to go for a complete repaint, in engine bay under arches as well,
The initial bodywork and prep work is being taken care of buy a close friend who is top notch at his bodywork(as ud expect for a car like this) the only problem is that his workplace(FORD DEALER) wont allow him to repaint it there as its classed as a forigner,
Hes having real trouble trusting and finding someone to do a good enough job, there is no shortage of people who want to paint it its just it needs to be first class, seen far to many shite jobs in our time.

Ive rang a few places for him and many of them want to do the whole thing understandarbly,
just wondered if there was anywere you knew that would be up for applying the paint, I think its gonna have to be place with a reputation so no back yard jobs as he is fussy and wants the best job possible(understandably)

anyone recommend anywere

Depends how far he wants to travel with it. Mine was painted a T & G Body Repairs in York. I cannot recommend Gaz and Tom highly enough. Was so impressed when I got my car back. Gaz used to paint for BMW in york so his reputation is pretty damn good

thats what i need really,
its also finding someone who trust my friends work enough(trust me is very good) to laythe paint ontop,
its just gonna save him so much to have it done this way round,
wants the sort of job u see on the concourse cars really,

dont mind the traveling at all either
york is only couple hours away from us

I highly recommend Moorland classic cars in stoke, family run business and skills handed down from father to sons, great bunch of people up there, i had my saff re-waxoiled buffed and had the wheel arches sorted and painted top notch job, top notch treatment,

You have us too, we have had our new low bake oven in since the start of the year, and Mark our resident paint sprayer is about as good as they come!

We do have a waiting list at the momment though so perhaps best to call us and have a chat with Mark direct.

With regards to quality if you want the best then Mark will certainly give you that but of course it all comes down to cost.
