Lenny McLean couldn't really be classed as a professional boxer, as although he fought for money it was in un-licenced or illegal bareknuckle bouts. At the time of his move into acting he was undefeated in around 3000 fights

They reckon up here that Viv Graham from Newcastle and Lee Duffy from Middlesboro were due to go and fight him. A lot of un biased people who actually hated Lee Duffy even conceded that he would have probably beaten Lenny McClean 
was a proper menacing barstool with hands like shovels!
