Default OIL LIGHT STAYING ON
STARTED MY 4X4 COS THE OTHER DAY AND THE OIL LIGHT STAYED ON TURNED IT OFF AGAIN STRAIGHT AWAY, ANY THOUGHTS ?

have u checked the level of oil

also check the wire hasnt come off the switch and replace the switch

if this doesnt cure then could be more serious

CHEERS MATE WILL LOOK AT THAT SEE IF ITS THE PROB OR NOT IS THE SWITCH DIFFERENT TO THE OTHER PINTOS OR DO I HAVE TO GET ONE FOR THE COSSY ESPECIALLY

proberbly the same bu unsure

for the sake of £5 its worth just getting a new one fro the car

any local parts suppliers should have them

Rounded off oil pump drive is a likely candidate. Sump off job but that means it would probably be easier to take the engine out, and if you go that far, you might as well give the engine a freshed up.
