Does anyone ever get any frudulant bidders trying to get you to send stuff to nigeria and not paying, its happened to me 4 times when ive sold mobile phones and it looks like you cant do fuck all about it other than relist your item...

you can add the option, of Uk only bidders on your auction, that only stops some of it, but worth a go.

choose the option "Block buyers who are registered in countries to which I don't ship." and make sure you dont ship to the rest of the world!

 

i had the same thing happen to me and a couple of mates . i waited for the auction to finish, laughed when i got email from Mr adfgafhg in tim buck too, and then emailed the next highest bidder and sold it to him . at the end of the day , the second highest bidder really is the winning bid cos the bo**ox bid that won aint real so you woulnt have got that much for it anywhere. stupid way i know, but it happened 3 times to me for the same phone so there was nopthing else i could do . at least it gets sold !!!!

 

Just check who is bidding on your auctions every day and block those that you can see are Sus.

Didnt fall for the first e-mail i ever got tho

 

just annoying you have to waste time relisting... Do they really think that someone would actually send something without getting the cash first

Yeah relisting costs lil money but it adds up

I had buy it now on them & they or "somethink" kept buying them afew hours before the auction finshed, i reckon its something to do with ebay making money on non selling items
