Last holiday I booked was from the online version of teletext holidays.
By far the cheapest I could find and I checked out ALOT of places.
However the place we stayed at wasnt quite as fantastic as it sounded in the description but had a great holiday non the less

We went to Tenerife with Teletext holidays last year, price was good etc just dont expect a lot with accomodation, but like we said was only a place to sleep was not like we were in there all day

Well the description for the place we stayed said it had its own private beach. turned out to be a small section of beach surrounded by cliffs that had nothing to do with the hotel at all! and it was full of stones!
It was supposed to be a 4 start hotel, but that was by greek standards. The towels were only changed every 3 days (4 star hotels are changed every day in the uk) and you had to pay extra for use of air con or security deposit box - which the description kind of made it sound like all that was inclusive.

not really, if you walk into a travel agents you can end up paying twice the price.
but I spose you got a better idea of what your getting.
if you know a bit about the area your going to and are just looking for a place to crash then generally you'll be fine
