Should be proper interesting

Everyones favourite TV racing driver tyre smoking loony gets the ultimate test of how good he really is this Sunday, as hes competing in Round1 of D1GB at Rockingham in a 600bhp Soarer drift car

5th Gear are covering it, and hes been given a provisional D1 licesnce, which means he needs to finish in the Top16 so he can carry con competing for the rest of the season.

Hes good at hanging the ass out on cars with some power oversteer, but proper competition drifting is a whole different ball game, so will be interesting to say the least how he compares to the rest of em.

One things for sure, its gonna make good viewing (for real and on TV!), and even if he does get caned (I think he will ) him and a mega power RWD car should make it fun to watch at least

i get so bored with the way fifth gear hang the arse out on EVERY car! that silly bint was trying to do it in some obscure mpv last time i watched

i'd much prefer to see the car going as fast as it can around the track and not sideways woman

to some extent top gear is pissing me off too in the same way

and personally i'm not into drifting at all,but fuck me they have some talent to be throwing cars sideways at that speed

should be a good watch

Thats the thing, its hard to compare him to others, but finally we can

I mean now hes gonna have to initiate the drift before the first corner so cant rely on power oversteer, will need to enter the first corner at well over 100mph to stand a chance, and isnt just one corner, hes gonna be linking 4-5 corners together without regaining grip once.

I think he'l do ok, esp as hes having lots of training from Julian Smith, but will be well cool to see how good he is when faced with actual competition.

Should be shithot, 5th Gear did a great feature on the drifting at the Donut Record, so this should be just as good
