How much should i be looking to pay to get my mfi rst lump put in my mk3 xr3 single carb ? My mate has started it but his a lazy fooker and just keeps putting off and im getting fed up and really wanna drive it
Both cars are in my drive with all parts needed. I just need someone to pop over and do the swap! plus i got an engine crane etc all sitting here. Would really like it done this week or at the weekend before i spunk all my money from my bike.

are both cars mk3?

if not the you will have to use all the mk4 dash and switches etc as there completly diffrent connectors

 

No the rs is an s2. I have no problem using the mk4 dash though i would rather keep the mk3. Theres no way round this ?

 

Bare in mind the car the engines going in is a race car so i could just put the indicators etc all on a switch pannel
