Has any one heard anything about this company or had any dealings with them? Just they have an advert in autotrader for a 90spec escort turbo s2 and dont ant to get fob'd off with a dog.

Where abouts are they based??!! There are a fwe in Essex and one of them is VERY dodgy.

How about the one in Crays Hill, Billericay??? Reason being I was at Essex Ford (Rayleigh Weir) about a week ago, when I came out of the parts centre there was some bloke looking at my 3DR, we had a little chat and he gave me his card which was the the RS Centre in Crays Hill.

Seemed a nice enough bloke but ......

If its the one in billericay then i wouldnt, i brought a saff cossie off him a while ago now and the second day i had it the head gasket went, phoned him up and he didnt want to know, had nothing but props with the car since.. Plus i think hes abit expensive with the parts he sells aswell..

 

I've heard a few roumers but never spoke to anyone thats had anything bad happen to them.

I've used them in the past for a few bits and never really had any issues.

The only thing I would comment on is that I went down there many moons ago for a front wiper motor cover and at the time there was an rs turbo in for an EFI conversion. Rather than trawel through their stock of parts to find me one, he took the one off the customers car for convienience.

Now I know that it was only a standard plastic cover and for all I know he replaced it with spanking mint one but all the same, Im not sure I'd have been too happy about it if that car belong to me.

 

Had dealings with these blokes and never had any problems, but spoke to one guy while i was there who'd just bought a T3 for his orion turbo and got warned HARSHLY against buying a car off em

One thing i'll say the 3-door the owner of the place is building is one serious piece of kit , wouldn't mind another look actually

 

I got a 90 spec front bumper off them once took it to my pals to have it painted and fitted etc, he recognised the part from one of his pals cars that got nicked in Basildon once

the big give away was that my pal had painted the bumper before in this certain shade of blue and had even snapped one of the 4 bolts, which on the one i got from RS centre was the same blue colour and had the same bolt snaped............nice to see where the parts went


but this is just my experiance with them

 

I wouldnt use them, and i wouldnt like him looking over my motor!! Most prob seeing what nice bits it has onit

 

Just watch they dont follow you home to see where you leave your car
