is anyone an apprentice or engineer at BAE systems?
#2
Congrats mate i have been through the apprentice training scheme at BAE. I started as a craft apprentice at DUnsfold and when that shut i moved to Farnborough to become a technical apprentice which was managed by Preston.
THey payed for all my training including my HND and would have payed for my degree if i could have been arsed to do so!
Finished my training about 4 years ago now and i am now a design engineer working on upgrades to the Harrier GR7, although i am temporarily working at the southside of the Warton site.
Good luck with it m8.
PS have you met a guy called Dave Boyne yet?

Was offered this apprenticeship but took the BNFL one instead
Congratulations for getting on. Hundreds apply every year and they only take a few
Getting in to engineering will be the best career choice you'll ever make
