Fords themselves used a long "chassis "leg that was welded to the full length of the floors on the GpA cars,, this in conjuction with many other strengthening panels can be seen in the "How to prepare the Sierra For Motorsport " book .

yes , sorry to thread jump

they aren't just two pipes welded to your chassis, the mounts at either end of the connectors are a work of art also

No disrespect to Pete, but I suspect Mike will be the true test judging by his methodical approach to stuff like this (god, I can't believe I paid him a compliment.... )

They dont come more methodical than me mate, this mod works , but certain people will never be convinced (not you) & I for one would not try to change their minds they knock everything that dont agree with their 20 years out of date ideas. Didnt get my motor to its present state without a lot of thought. Brilliant mod Danny, hope it sells well.

Danny, if it is bolting to front chassis leg, is it advisable for me to get my bump steer and caster set before coming to you, as it's not quite how I want it yet?

Its fully weld in Mike, you could have your camber and bumpsteer set and then check it after or just wait until we've fitted these.

Comment mentioned somewhere saying there not adjustable: NO there not as the PRE-tensioning is done by me during fitment BEFORE welding them.

Thanks for the kind words Rod

Hmm, can you come over to weld them on my car, it'll be cheaper than sending my car over to you. LOL.

Which would YOU prefer me to do, as I don't want to lose any tension on the set up by adjusting it after, nor lose my geometry settings?

with respect to patent - get it advertised in perf ford mag, and hopefully people will buy from the creator rather than those stealing the idea. They do tests at times dont they in their features???

Another item added to my shoppping list for sure

Danny,
What material is it made out of and/or what finish is on the bars. I'm only asking, because as I plan to keep my car for a LONG while and the underneath can take a battering, I want them to last. Would it be worth making out of 304L/316L instead of 1387 for my car?
