Car broken down again Battery not charging, alternator packed up

again ! Second one since i put the turbo lump in! so i think i need

to get hold of one of those heatshields that sits between the front pipe and

the alternator! anyone know where to get a polished or stainless steel

one from? car is fiesta si with frst engine in it!

when i had a rst the heat shields were still avail from ford - wa a few years ago tho.

or could try and make one out of sheet ally? 1.5 mm thick i have, would that do the job? or would the ally distort when got warm?
