Default Saoh Cos 4x4 Front Brake Full Setup - how much?

Just wondering, typically how much a full front brake setup goes for - basically including everything i need for it to be fitted to a mk3.5 Fiesta.

I know they go onto mk3 Fiestas fine, i would assume mk3.5's would be no different anyone sure about this?

What braided line kit should i be buying - the one for the cos or for a fiesta rs t?

Cheers

depends how lucky you get! can get the full kit for around £150-200 incl. hoses etc.

i got the braided hoses from mike rainbird, and they have a banjo connection so will fit either cos or fez calipers

Thats decent enough.

Any tips for buying used brakes, never bought any before - what should i be looking for, in terms of judging condition and whether they'll work or not?

Cheers

calipers are the only thing you cant check...buy off someone on here and generally you should be okay, or ebay etc. just read the description carefully.

make sure you ask their working condition and go from there

Final question i promise

Any noticable/visual difference between 4wd and 2wd front callipers - just so i don't buy off someone who's advertising the wrong callipers without knowing.

Cheers for all your help

Edit to say: Oh and is it possible that a new aftermarket (AP, Wilwood) Saph 4x4 front calliper setup will bolt straight onto the fiesta front hub?

Theres a few on e-bay at the moment. Gotta be a bit careful as don't know exactly what you're getting but they do seem dirt cheap at the moment. It's gotta be worth getting the discs at least from here as even motor factors charge over £100 for a pair.

I paid £72 for a full set-up including the hubs and hub carriers. However, one of the hubs was slightly bent which I only discovered a year later. Bare in mind some of the set-ups could have come off cars that have been in a smash.

Good point, im looking to buy only callipers and disks for a mk3 Fiesta conversion- so hopefully there'll be less chance of that.
