right, here goes...

i have an uprated escos fuel pump sat infront of me (well, as far as i'm aware its uprated!) and would like to know what it is exactly... there are very few numbers visible!

it reads:

12v (506) 871 . 11 czech republic

thats all i can see on it, it has a bit of aeroquip on the top and the fuel return seems to have been blocked off.

basically i'd like to know what it can supply and how much its worth! *not a for sale post* i'm a goldmember anyway, so i can advertise it when i know what it should sell for

Not sure why the fuel return is blocked off, unless the car ran an eternal swirl pot (aswell as in tank item??) and then used another pump from there,.. and fuel was returned there maybe??

Not having the return makes the unit nearly useless to most of us (not sure you can remove the level sender from the unit easily....)

the pump should have some other numbers on it somewhere, longer numbers as it looks like a bosch item....

the "fitting kit" and hose may be worth a couple of quid though...

new would be around 70-80quid

bosch 0 580 254 003

hows that?

bosch 003,gp a type,ive had one in the for sale section for £50 and no ones interested so that shows you there worth should get a few quid for fitting kit though
