Interestingly enough an earlier version of Loose Change and one of the other Conspracy vids based on it contained tv footage of the towers colapse that they didn't even realise had been faked.

The original scene shows both towers standing and what appears to be a suspect cloud of dust rising from their bases. But what the authors didn't realise is someone had taken the standing tower from the first frame and overlaid it and sent it to them. It didn't even look right with the towers totally out of proportion.

Sure enough keyboard wielding nerds noticed this and furious blogs were written about it, the author was confronted at a seminar and said they would aknowlegde the error and report it. But no suprise to see the scene was just cut and they pretended it never existed while still happily making money off it.

and just to throw in my thoughts - I dont think there is any conspiracy regarding the destruction although I will say that the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were convenient from an oil perspective.

Possibly, but the building it hit was also alot bigger than the wall in that video, so I guess the outcome would be pretty much the same.

The F4 is designed to pull alot higher G than the commercial jet should have to pull, so the F4 should be stronger I'd expect, but it just "atomizes"

Not really wishing to add to the argument or anything but has anyone else seen the movie 'United 93'?

I watched it last night and thought it was pretty good - but bloody depressing at the same time! You just have to remember it's an American film so excuse any cheesy bits (of which there aren't many).

In fact, thinking about it, it sounds like the Americans have released this video to coincide with the release of that film, so that people left leaving American cinemas will put at rest their thoughts on what happened to the plane that the general public don't really know about or quite believe.

Yes - but having watched the film the other night the big question raised by watching the film is 'what happened on the one that was supposed to hit the Pentagon'. At least that's what the film left me questioning - the film makes out that the ATC and US Military really didn't know what was going on. Plus I think they made it clear that they couldn't get a response from the President for quite some time (he was still intrigued listening to the story about a duck with the kids ).

P.S. The film spends alot of the time showing the scene unfold amongst the ATCs, US Military etc. rather than on the plane itself. In fact, it goes pretty much from the point the ATC believe a plane to be hijacked (the first plane to hit the WTC) and then throughout the whole process, including showing the guys at JFK (?) in the Flight Control Tower watching the smoking tower of the WTC as the second plane comes in and hits. I'd recommend watching it as I thought it was pretty good.

There are no surrounding buildings from that side of the pentagon, just lots of flat grassed area and Arlington Cemetary so not a great deal to navigate. Its also a very heavily used flightpath into reagan nataional airport almost above the pentagon so low flying planes are a way of life there.

I was living in Washington at the time and only a couple of miles away when it happened. Trust me the pictures and video footage dont to the size of the hole in the building justice. It was 'kin massive.

Got to say though in all the crap US TV and 24/7 news on 9/11 for weeks after I never sawa single interview with an eye witness. There is like a 5 lane interstate road just to the right of that security camera footage and I cant believe that nobody saw anything. Very odd.

I think i didnt explain myself really,
if the 747 atomised like the phantom fighter in the film then,personaly i would ask how they managed to identify 180 odd people that atomised in the American Airlines plane that hit the pentagon?
AT least i think thats what they said had happened to "most" of the America Airlines plane.

One point I was interested in from the loose change film was the cell phone calls. Were the twin tower planes at cruising altitude when the supposed calls were made? Its hard to know what kind of altitude you can get mobile phone reception as it is 100% illegal to have one turned on in flight!

by using records of the flight/airline/airport?

ie, people needed tickets to be on the plane, tickets can be traced back to who paid for them etc etc

quite easy to identify really i guess, just look into who checked into the flight desk for that flight
